When we started Sprout, it was just the two of us cooking out of our apartment kitchen for friends and family during the pandemic, delivering meals door-to-door, and hoping people would take a chance on a plant-based meal prep company in Calgary.
And you did. Big time. Over the past few years, we’ve grown alongside you. You’ve cheered us on, stuck with us through it all and filled our inbox
with love (and honestly, more than a few “can you PLEASE add meat
to your menu!” messages too).
We’ve learned so much from you—about what works, what you crave, and what keeps you coming back. And one thing kept coming up: you love our meals, but you want more flexibility. You want the same quality, the same convenience, but with more protein options, meals your whole household will love, and new flavours to keep things exciting.
So we’re growing again. BetterDay is our next chapter—built to offer you more ways to eat well, without the pressure to be perfect. Whether you’re fully plant-based, a meat-and-potatoes person, or somewhere in between, we’ve got something for you. All made from scratch, just like always.
The name is changing. The menu is growing. But our kitchen, our values, and our mission to make mealtimes easier and better? That’s not going anywhere.
