  • What happens to my subscription on June 30th?
    On June 29th, our Client Relations team will convert all current subscriptions into their new BetterDay equivalent. Over the weeks leading up to this, we'll contact each subscriber to confirm your preferences and help you choose the perfect BetterDay meal plan for you!
  • Will the names of my plans or plan types change?
    Yes. We’re phasing out Healthy Habits plans and simplifying everything into Plant-Based or Omnivore plans. You’ll still choose your weekly meal quantity and add snacks, breakfasts, and other items separately.
  • Are your plan prices changing?
    Yes, ever so slightly, as most plans will only see an increase of $0.25 per meal - our first price increase in 3 years! Our new pricing reflects rising food and labor costs, while still blowing away the competition in terms of value for the high quality we pride ourselves on. Our pricing for our new BetterDay plans are as follows: Plant-Based Plans: $14.49 per meal Omnivore Plans: $15.99 per meal We’re still committed to value—our meals are high in protein, nutrient-dense, and designed to help you crush your health goals without breaking the bank.
  • Why is there no more free delivery for monthly plans?
    With rising costs and a move toward more sustainable packaging, we’re sad to say we have to retire the free delivery perk. Instead, we’ve introduced one simple flat-rate delivery fee for everyone, to help us keep things fair and transparent.
  • What’s your new delivery fee?
    Starting in July, we’ll be charging a flat $7.99 per order for delivery. This helps cover: Industry leading wages for our in-house delivery drivers (they're the best!) And starting mid-July — brand new reusable cooler bags and ice packs at no extra cost to you We’re proud to keep our delivery pricing transparent, fair, and simple. No zones. No hidden fees. Just great food, delivered straight to your door.
  • Will pickup still be available?
    Yes! Pickup is available at select partner locations for a reduced fee, which you’ll see at checkout. It’s a great option if you’re out and about or want to save on delivery.
  • Will my account balance and gift cards still work under BetterDay?
    Yes! Your account balance, credits, and any Sprout gift cards will transfer seamlessly. Because your Sprout and BetterDay profiles are one and the same, you can continue using your balance across both sides without skipping a beat.
  • Will my existing promotions or discounts still apply after the switch to BetterDay?
    If you signed up with a promo code under Sprout, that discount will not carry over to your BetterDay plan. However, we’ve got some amazing launch offers to make your first BetterDay month even better—check them out on our promo page!
  • How will I know what to do during the switch?
    Our team will reach out directly! Plus, we’ll have pop-ups, site banners, and emails to guide you step-by-step.
  • Will anything change about the way my subscription works?
    Nope. Skips, pauses, meal selection, portion sizes, and cutoff dates will all stay the same.
  • How will you decide which plan I get if I don’t respond?
    We’ll default your subscription to a Plant-Based plan with the same number of meals if we can’t reach you.
  • Are all your old meals still available?
    Many of your Sprout favorites will carry over, with some getting upgraded. Others may rotate out to make space for new fan-favorites.
  • What’s happening to Sprout Meals?
    Sprout Meals is evolving into BetterDay — a new name and brand that reflects our broader menu, bigger mission, and greater flexibility. Same team, same kitchen, same delivery, just a bolder experience.
  • Why are you making this change?
    Because you asked for more. For years, clients have requested meat options, more variety, and meals that suit their entire household. BetterDay is our way of giving you exactly that.
  • When is Sprout becoming BetterDay?
    Sprout will fully transition to BetterDay on June 30th. Our first official BetterDay delivery heads out Sunday, July 6th.
  • Is BetterDay a different company?
    Nope! Still the same founders, kitchen, and team you know and love. BetterDay is simply the next chapter in our story.
  • Is this just a name change, or is the menu changing too?
    We’re adding tons of new options! Including high-protein omnivore meals, new breakfasts, rotating ciabattas, Protein Packs, and much more.
  • Are you offering meat now?
    Yes! Our new "Omnivore" plan includes both plant-based dishes and sustainably sourced meat meals while also offering a full "Plants Only" plan for those who love our original menu.
  • Do I need to make a new account?
    Not at all. Your existing Sprout account will work seamlessly with BetterDay.
  • Will my login info stay the same?
    Yes. No need to update your email or password.
  • Will the website URL change?
    No. You’ll keep using our same www.Sproutmeals.ca website to place all orders during this transition. On June 30th, our website will officially move to www.betterdayfood.ca, and we will automatically forward all clicks to our old Sprout address to our new BetterDay address.
  • How do I switch between Sprout and BetterDay on the website?
    Use the Kitchen Selector at the top of your screen (look for the little house icon). You can toggle between Sprout and BetterDay kitchens there.
  • Why does it still say Sprout even when I’m ordering BetterDay meals?
    The website branding won’t fully update until June 30. Until then, both "kitchens" - Sprout and BetterDay live under the Sprout branding.
  • Will there be a new app or ordering process?
    Nope! Same great system you’re used to.
  • What are my meal plan options?
    Choose from: Omnivore (Mix-and-match meat and plant-based meals) Plants Only (Fully meat-free) Omnivore offers the full menu; Plant-Based includes only meat-free items.
  • Are you still doing gluten-free or allergen-friendly meals?
    Yes, we are still going to be offering a large weekly selection of fully GF meals. You can add your specific allergies directly onto your account through your Profile page (click the human icon on our website header bar) Filters are also available on the menu to help you select the right meals for your needs.
  • Are the meals changing in portion size?
    Some meals, especially salads, now come in larger, lidded containers. All are portioned to be macro-friendly and satisfying.
  • Can I still customize my meals or skip weeks?
    Absolutely. Both weekly and monthly subscribers can skip or pause anytime.
  • Will I be able to get meat and plant-based meals in one plan?
    Yes! That’s exactly what our Omnivore plan is for - you will have access to pick from our entire menu line up, including either the plant based or meat protein version of some of our weekly dishes.
